The Compass pays tribute to the engineering prowess of the Water Conservation and Irrigation Commission which was tasked with developing the MIA's intricate network of canals, channels and drains to efficiently and effectively move water using predominantly gravity.
Wind Messenger located at Chemlsford Place celebrates the Australasian Bittern (Botaurus poiciloptilus) and its habitat within the Fivebough Wetlands just five minutes drive from this site in Leeton Shire.
